The Kristiania will be happy to put together a personal tailor made package for you. However, all bookings are subject to a few terms and conditions.
Rates & Offers
All our offers and specials are subject to availability on time of booking. The rates are per room per night. Single occupancy on request. All taxes (VAT of 10%) and services are included (with the exception of the local city tax charge of Euro 3,80 per person per day from the age of 15 years). No refund will be made for unused services. All rates are subject to change.
Single occupancy
On request only 20% reduction on the room rate on time of booking (with the exception of peak season).
Additional children's bed
The costs are between Euro 60 (summer)/ Euro 95 (winter) and Euro 180 per day and child depending on the age of the child and the season.
External Service Charge
We charge a 5% processing fee on all external non-hotel services, e.g. transfers, mountain guides, babysitters and similar services.
Check-in & check-out
Your room will be ready for you from 3 pm on the date of arrival and up to 12 noon on the departure date.
Transfers
We will be pleased to help you organise and book a transfer from the airport or train station.
Dresscode
We kindly ask our guests to dress elegantly for dinner in keeping with the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Travel Offices and Agents
We do grant a commission on the quoted net room rate (=gross rate minus VAT) if a 50% (100% for advance purchase rates) deposit is made on time of booking and full payment 31 days prior to the guest's actual arrival date is received. If you are a travel adviser or concierge service, please do ask for details.
Concept Private Edition – Unlimited Gastronomy
We do offer an additional fully catered – all in - concept including all meals as well as premium wine and drinks all day long. You normally can find this kind of concept in private villas and chalets. Spa treatments and massages, external services (eg. transfers, mountain guides, babysitting) as well as our rarity wines and drinks are excluded. Please do ask for our “typical day at Kristiania” to whet your appetite for your Kristiania lifestyle.
Extra bed
The cost of an extra bed in the room is Euro 210 per day and person in winter and Euro 60 per day and person in summer.
Reservation guarantee
The room reservation is only confirmed after a payment of a 50% deposit (100% deposit for non refundable advance purchase bookings). Please send us your return confirmation with the number and expiry date of your credit card within 48 hours. We will then charge your credit card with 50% (100% for advance purchase rates) of the cost of the booking as a deposit. Health and Safety

Valet Parking
The Kristiania has no front-of-hotel parking. We will be happy to reserve a space in the garage for you at a fee of Euro 35 per day and take care of parking your car.
Dogs
Euro 55 per dog per day (not including food). Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all our rooms and are permitted in the reception area, on the sun terrace and in the Kaminzimmer. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurants.
Smoking
We do ask you to refrain from smoking in all rooms and areas of the Kristiania. Smoking is permitted on the sun terrace, garden and Schanigarten.
Cancellation & More
You may cancel - in writing - No cash refund can be made for unused services. Our flexible rates require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Final payment is due upon departure. You may cancel / modify your reservation free of charge up to 31 days prior arrival date. In case of cancellation / modification between 16 – 31 days prior arrival date the 50% of the total booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees. For cancellations / modifications within 15 days prior the arrival date, no show or early departure full cancellation fees apply.
Peak Season (Feb 11 - Feb 26, 2024; Dec 21 - Jan 05, 2024 and Feb 14 - Feb 23, 2025; Dec 20 - Jan 04, 2025 and Feb 13 - Feb 22, 2026): Our flexible rates require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Final payment is due 61 days prior arrival day. Guests may cancel / modify their reservation free of charge up to 91 days prior arrival date. In case of cancellation / modification between 61-91 days prior arrival date the 50% of the total booking amount will be charged as cancellation fees. For cancellations / modifications within 60 days prior the arrival date, no show or early departure full cancellation fees apply.
Summer Season (July 4 - Sept 1, 2024 and July 10 - Sept 7, 2025 and July 9 - Sept 6, 2026): Our flexible rates require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Final payment is due upon departure. Guests may cancel / modify their reservation free of charge up to 15 days prior arrival date. For cancellations / modifications within 14 days prior the arrival date, no show or early departure full cancellation fees apply.
Our non refundable, advance purchase rate and last minute offers require a 100% deposit at the time of booking and in case of cancellation / modification full cancellation fees apply in winter.

Tip. We do offer travel protection with a 100% refund guarantee up to 48h prior arrival in case of government travel bans in connection of COVID-19. This means we will refund 100% of the deposit. In addition, effortless COVID-19 express testing is available at the hotel. Please do ask for details. Health issues of yourself or family member are not covered in our travel protection and we highly recommend a medical travel insurance.
