Thankfully, Dziewior will not be lost to Austria entirely. The Minister of Culture Josef Ostermayer only recently commissioned him to curate the Austrian Pavilion at the 2015 Venice Biennale.
- Believe it or not, first place goes to the Kunsthaus Bregenz, which was built by one of my favourite architects - Peter Zumthor.
- The Pfänder. It is directly behind my apartment. There is nothing better than taking a walk up the mountain and coming back down on the chair lift in summer and jumping straight into Lake Constance or speeding downhill in winter on a sledge.
- My books. At the moment I am reading "Johann Holtrop" by Rainald Goetz.
- My driving licence. I have never attempted to get one, which happily means that I always have a few very nice, caring people to drive me around.
- The plays of René Pollesch. I love them so much that I even had to steal a title - "Love is Colder than Capital" - for a group exhibition at the Kunsthaus Bregenz.
- My DVDs. I recently particularly enjoyed "Die bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant" by Rainer Werner Fassbinder.
- Jil Sander, and in fact just about anything she and Raf Simons do.
- My CDs, and especially the albums of my new favourite artist XIU XIU.
- "Rootsy". A collage by Kai Althoff, which has been hanging in my bedroom now for over 15 years.
- Penne all'arrabbiata. One of the few dishes I can cook without a cookbook. Otherwise: going out for a schnitzel at one of the fantastic traditional Vorarlberg restaurants.
