Signature Suites

The rooms with a story of their own.

Some rooms have less to do with category, and more to do with temperament. Our Signature Suites are the most individual in the House — shaped by mood, memory, design and a certain cultivated eccentricity. Less standard hotel suite, more private world in the mountains.

A Gentle Note

Each Signature Suite is individual in detail, mood and layout. Views, features and sleeping arrangements may vary, and some suites suit particular stays better than others.

Not Quite Sure Which Suite Is Right?

Tell us what kind of stay you have in mind. We will help you choose the suite with the right temperament.

Livingstone

Open, art-led and quietly self-possessed, Livingstone brings together African influences, Viennese Jugendstil and a cool, collected sense of calm. Worldly, individual and entirely at ease with itself.

Marie Antoinette

Softened by a French decorative mood, Marie Antoinette has grace, charm and lightness. Romantic, yes — but with poise, wit and a certain self-awareness.

Owner's Suite

The Owner’s Suite is Kristiania at its most expansive, private and singular — a collected world of design, art and residential ease. Eccentric in the best possible sense. Less suite, more point of view.

and a few more, each with a world of its own

Turandot

Turandot is the more expressive soul — richer in colour, bolder in spirit and touched with a slightly theatrical charm. A suite with imagination, presence and its own kind of flourish.

Puccini

Puccini is quieter in tone, darker in palette and more inward in character. Composed, cultured and very much at ease with not raising its voice.

Suleiman

Layered, enveloping and rich in atmosphere, Suleiman draws on the old idea of the Turkish room once beloved in cultivated Austrian interiors. Intimate, transportive and full of a deeper kind of warmth.

Luis Trenker

Luis Trenker brings mountain spirit into a more contemporary register — warm, assured and polished rather than rustic. Winter feels very much at home here. So does a certain elegance.
