A Bar with a Good Memory
The Bar at Kristiania belongs to a slightly rarer species: discreet, intimate and pleasingly free of fuss.
It is the sort of place made for a Negroni before dinner, a Manhattan after it, a glass of Champagne for no particular reason, or something cold and beautifully mixed after a day in the mountains.
The mood is calm, the music knows its place, and the room does not need to try too hard. This is not about spectacle. It is about timing, confidence and the lasting appeal of things done properly.
